Apple has decided it was time to point its guns to one of its main competitors in the mobile business, HTC. Cupertino alleges that HTC infringed 20 Apple iPhone patents in its phones and now it is looking for legal retribution.
The lawsuit has been filed with the International Trade Commission and in the U.S. District Court in Delaware. That being said it will be interesting to watch this conflict especially since HTC is the maker of some of the best smartphones currently available out there. We were impressed more than once with their Android handsets and now we're waiting for the company to make Windows Phone 7 handsets too.
It's also worth mentioning that Apple is also in a similar war with Nokia as it seems that the battle for more market share in the mobile business is getting more and more exciting this year. So who would you want to win in this matter?
