Enyo Framework For webOS Palm (or HP now) has recently revealed a new type of framework for developers, dubbed as 'Enyo'. Enyo shall be replacing the current framework, called Mojo early next year. It allows for faster app starts, better HTML5 standards, and the ability to work on multiple screen sizes without rewriting the app. Wait, there is only one screen size on the Pre and Pre 2, isn't there? Well, this certainly does once again hint at either a 'PalmPad' or maybe even the rumoured Palm Mansion! This new framework along with a $200 discount, you would be in a good position if you are a webOS developer.

So, this pretty much confirms that we should be seeing some sort of new Palm device soon. Whether it be the Palm Mansion, or a PalmPad, we will have to see. I have personally been thinking about an iPad for a while now, but if Palm releases a nice looking webOS device at a competitive or better price, I will be sold. Could this new framework open up new opportunities, could we see a big surge of webOS apps coming through?
