Nokia Plans For Revamped Symbian UI And Dual-Core Phones In 2011

The Nokia N8 and N97 were meant to be Nokia's breakthrough devices, something that really brought the heavily outdated Symbian operating system back to it's feet, with a fresh feeling and look. Unfortunately, the OS still felt as it did on the first Nokia phones that came out. Nokia has vowed to improve this next year sometime, pushing updates to these devices and also releasing new Symbian devices, however the new devices brings us onto our next point. Along with the revamp of Symbian, they will also be releasing dual-core processor phones with this. Dual-core processors will make Symbian extremely speedy and smooth, Nokia has big plans for their smartphone future.
