Verizon to Launch Windows Phone 7 Handsets Soon Verizon and Sprint are two of the U.S. carriers that haven't received any Windows Phone 7 handsets yet, but both of them are going to get CDMA WP7 devices next year. In fact Verizon could launch the phones a lot sooner than expected considering that various Windows Phone 7 apps have already started to appear in the Marketplace.

The first Verizon Wireless WP7 apps are at least according to the screenshot here, My Verizon Mobile, Netflix, Slacker Radio, but a lot of others apps could arrive in the near future.

Hopefully Verizon will make Windows Phone 7 handsets official in the near future, and by near we mean CES 2011 where the carrier will have its own special keynote in which it will share with the crowds its vision of its mobile future. What about you, WP7 fans, are you already waiting for Verizon WP7 handsets?
