You just need to remember that a 4x4x4 cube is subdivided into 2x2 squares and a 1x4 column. There is exactly 1 solution to each given puzzle. Your task is to fill all the cells in the cube using numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 in a way that each column and each 2x2 square in any direction contains each of the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 exactly once.
