A short while ago we showed you the first images of the HP/Palm tablets and it seems that the first specs and features of the device have been leaked before the official announcement.
The device, called the HP Topaz, is probably going to be unveiled at some special HP/Palm event in February, but the specs and features of the tablet have been leaked already:
- 190 x 240 x 13.7 mm, 700 g
- Dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 16/32/64 Gb storage
- 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
- Combined notification LED/home button
- OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics
- Accelerometer, digital compass, microphone, stereo speakers with Beats audio
- Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, with optional WWAN and GPS
- Capacitive, 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 display, supports multitouch, comes with "EZ-clean" coating
- MicroUSB slot, 3.5 mm headphone jack
- 8 hours battery life
Pricing details and release dates are not available just yet, but the HP Topaz will surely match the iPad's pricing scheme as for actual launch we can expect it to hit stores in the coming months.
