HP Announced the Veer webOS Smartphone HP has stepped up its mobile game today with a bunch of new devices. Among them we found an entry-level webOS 2.0 handset, the Veer, which seems to be the successor of the Palm Pixi, but also a worthy smartphone despite its actual size.

The HP Veer is about the same size of a credit card, at least when that QWERTY keyboard is closed and it will offer you a 2.6-inch touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera, HSPA+ connectivity, 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, gesture area, 8GB of internal storage, Adobe Flash support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Mobile Hotspot feature, proximity sensor, light sensor, accelerometer and a 910mAh battery.

This tiny webOS handset will arrive at some point in spring but there are no pricing details and clear launch dates at this time.
