HP Announced the Pre 3 webOS Smartphone Following the Palm Pre and the Palm Pre 2, HP will launch the HP Pre 3, a totally redesigned smartphone, and, from the looks of it, a far more superior handset than previous webOS devices, including its younger brother the Veer.

The HP Pre 3 packs quite a punch as it's going to be a high-end webOS device you should be interested in: 3.6-inch toucshcreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, GPS, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, LED flash and HD video recording, front-facing VGA camera, accelerometer, compass, proximity and light sensors, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Mobile Hotspot support, 512MB RAM, 8GB or 16GB of storage space and webOS under the hood.

The Pre 3 should be available at some point later in summer, but we have no release dates for you. As for pricing details, well, we expect the new Pre family member to be priced similarly with its Android and iOS counterparts although we'll need more info on that as well.
