HandySwitcher, the lightweight task management program that makes it easy for you to manage the running programs on your PocketPC, has just been updated to support WIndows Mobile 5.0, multiple display types and square-screen displays (like Treo 700W for example), D-pad navigation, and several Phone Edition enhancements.

With HandySwitcher 2.7 you can switch between running programs, close unwanted ones to free some memory or even close all of them. This application makes management of the running tasks on your PocketPC a simple tap action in only 75 KB of memory usage.

Some of the features of HandySwitcher 2.7 are:

* Know what programs are running in the background.
* Choose the behavior of the close (X) button (single tap and tap-and-hold).
* Smart minimize (default Pocket PC behavior).
* Close (to really close applications)
* Free valuable memory by closing unwanted programs.
* Switch between running programs
* Add programs to ignore list if you don't want them to show up in the menu.
* You can assign a hardware button to bring its menu up.
* You can optionally choose to hide the icons.
* Integration with HandyMenu and HandyLauncher, to add them on the top of the screen for accessibility.
* The integration with HandyMenu and HandyLauncher is optional and can be turned off.
* Location of the icons on the top bar is customizable.
* You can setup HandySwitcher to restart with your system every time your do soft-reset.
* Low memory usage.
* Can be installed on any memory card (install it wherever you want).
* Install/Uninstall without the need to reset your device.
