People have started talking about 4G even before we have successfully dealt with 3G altogether. There are so many areas of the world where 3G isn’t available or where 3G smartphones are much more expensive than you’d imagine. Nonetheless for those used to 3G like they’re used to breathing air, 4G connectivity seems a normal, logical step. Alltel is thinking about integrating LTE for their future 4G network. This is a three to five years move and for now we can only but talk about such an adventure.

AT&T will finish deploying their HSDPA by the end of June when they will be the first network to offer full HSPA service in the USA. More than 100 new areas will be added by the end of the year which means AT&T will total more than 350 markets for their high speed 3G.

HTC went ahead and released two more smartphones. The HTC Touch 3G and the HTC Touch Viva are phones worthy to be worn by you. There’s a full list of specs for both models after the break.

I’d have to admit I am in love with the Touch HD but these other two cellphones are also remarkable. We found them earlier in various rumors so we were expecting them to become official.

Both the Touch 3G and the Viva will be available at the beginning of October in various markets around the world. The Touch 3G will arrive in black, gold, blue and brown and the Viva will come dressed in gray. Like for the HD prices are to follow soon.

Sprint has decided to reduce their unlimited data plans to only 5GB a month and an extra 300MB while roaming in other networks. Why, oh but why? Instead of keeping data plans unlimited which would make them unique for that service they chose to handle it like other carriers.

One thing missing from T-Mobile’s offer in the USA is proper 3G coverage. T-Mobile is apparently working hardly on that, or that’s what rumors say. For now T-Mobile is offering full voice and data 3G coverage to those lucky subscribers in the New York area. But if we are to believe the latest rumors, T-Mobile is going to launch their 3G network in more US markets starting with October 1st.

T-Mobile is getting ready to launch their 3G by October 1st in 27 more markets. That means more people across the USA will have access to T-Mobile’s 3G network. That must surely mean that T-Mobile might offer better prices for 3G phones and plans for their subscribers.

We’ve seen the HTC Dream caught on video just yesterday and we started dreaming about the potential Android device while wondering if it was all real. Well it appears it’s real all right! The HTC Dream running on Google’s Android will carry the code name G1 and it will be sold by T-Mobile from September 17th.
