The next-gen iPhone is supposed to be coming out later this year and the web is already filled with plenty of rumors regarding it. Digging through all these rumors one will find the a little bit of information that suggests one of the real features of the upcoming iPhone version.

O2 UK seems to be preparing for iPhone video calls in the UK. The iPhone models available to date in stores lack a front-facing camera that would let them offer you 3G video calls. Clearwire WiMAX 2 Trial Starting in 2011

Clearwire is currently busy deploying its WiMAX network but at the same time it's thinking about the near future. It would seem that although most people see LTE as the future of high-speed communication Clearwire will still rely on WiMAX.

iPhone 4G to Come with Touch-Sensitive Case?

iPhone 4G to Come with Touch-Sensitive Case?

Apple will launch the next-generation iPhone this summer and it might go to AT&T, Verizon or both. We don't necessarily care about that sort of thing right now as we are more interested in features and specs. And you already know that Cupertino is not talking and it won't do so in the near future either.

An analyst from Goldman Sachs, Robert Chen, has apparently more knowledge about the upcoming Apple phone. Not only did he tell Bloomberg that the new phone is coming with a 5-megapixel camera but he also mentioned a feature that we don't normally expect to see in the iPhone 4G.

Walmart to Build WiMAX Towers for Sprint?

Walmart to Build WiMAX Towers for Sprint?

An interesting alliance is shaping up! It looks like Sprint and Walmart will be working together in the WiMAX mobile business. It seems that Walmart is willing to install WiMAX cells on all its stores in the USA. The real winner here is Sprint which will undoubtedly increase its WiMAX coverage within the USA.

And Sprint needs all the help it can get before Verizon and AT&T starts offering 4G themselves. Unlike Sprint, these two carriers are going to rely on LTE to deliver 4G speeds. And as other international carriers are going to go LTE too, it looks like WiMAX might not become too popular with the general public.

T-Mobile USA Admits to Losing Customers Due to Lack of Proper 3G Network

T-Mobile USA is a great carrier if you ask me, but the fact that it lacks a proper 3G network would be a good enough excuse for me to choose a different carrier. And apparently that's a big problem for the company.
