Here is one very good application for you who travel or those who are residents in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is called Timetable DE and its purpose is to deliver the desired train and bus schedule directly to your Android phone.
Sony Ericsson's first Android phone, the Xperia X10 is going to be launched soon in various markets. One of them seems to be Germany where T-Mobile Germany is getting ready to offer it to its subscribers. The move seems rather logical considering that T-Mobile USA is also rumored to get the device this year.
The phone is definitely worth checking out but it's going to be too expensive if purchased without a contract. The rumored unlock pricing is somewhere around $860 which is a lot to pay for an Android phone considering that the Nexus One only costs $529 without a contract.

It looks like the Google Nexus One is coming to Europe markets via Vodafone. In Germany the carrier will start selling the device next month according to a supposedly leaked flier. The phone will probably get the attention of lots of German Android fans and, since it's coming from Vodafone, it will be available for much less.
Sure you'll probably have to get a two-year new contract from Vodafone but that's a small price to pay in order to get the device. After all Android looks to be the mobile OS of the future and sooner or later we will all end up trying out at least one Android phone.

What's the MILESTONE you ask? It's a phone coming from Motorola that happens to be called the Droid in the USA. That's right Android fans, Motorola is going to deliver the Droid

I am pretty confident you will ignore this phone when it comes out in Germany this November but I still feel I have to let you know it exists. The Samsung ArmaniB7620 is probably a great phone but it's way too expensive.

GSM Palm Pre is all the rage right now, everyone who ditched the Pre because it went CDMA first are now jumping for joy, but the Germans having lots more fun because they will be first to own one, sad stuff indeed.
Interesting rumor here, it appears O2 Germany could become the first service provider to offer the GSM version of the Palm Pre, many folks wouldn't mind that.
I love the Toshiba TG01, love it so much that I write something about it almost every time when news about the handset hit the scene, and actually found some none hate for Windows Mobile. After reading this piece of disturbing news, I'm feeling hating again.

Well it seems the phone has been delayed although we were expecting O2 to start selling the phone sometime in the middle of June.
