The world is still in recession no matter what some analysts will say. Sure according to various reports the world is recovering but that doesn't mean that everyone out there is happy. It looks like 2,000 Wintek workers went on strike over bonus payments.

Wintek is in charge of making displays for Nokia, Apple and Huawei. The longer they continue the strike the more it could impact the sales of Nokia, Huawei and Apple devices.

Telefonica is the latest carrier to announce its intentions to develop a future LTE network. In order to properly do that, the telecommunication company will start trials in six internationally markets. Curiously the number six appears again as Telefonica will run the test for six months and will work with six LTE technology providers.

Huawei's first Android smartphone was officially announced as the T-Mobile Pulse last week. Here comes its another phone from Huawei which is very similar, the Huawei U8230. It is supposed to hit more European countries soon as well. According to the info available it will be powered by Qualcomm 7200A chip at 528 MHz, will run on Android 1.5 (Cupcake) and features quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (up to 7.2 Mbps in down- and 2.0 Mbps in upstream), Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi b/g and GPS.

T-Mobile UK have today officially announced the launch of their third Android powered handset, the T-Mobile Pulse. The Pulse also marks the first PAYG (pay as you go) Android handset to be launched across the UK.

Manufactured by Huawei, the T-Mobile Pulse is an HSDPA device that features a 3.2 mega-pixel camera (with autofocus), with Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.
