At the beginning of the month Sony Ericsson announced the new Xperia X2 Windows Mobile smartphone and first Windows phone, featuring Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional (Check out the video here). Xperia X2 features the unique Arc-Slider keyboard but the new SlideView feature, which basically replaces the X1's Xpanels, should give the X2 Sony Ericsson's very own user experience in addition to Windows Mobile 6.5. The X2 is designed by Sony Ericsson but unlike the X1 - which was manufactured by HTC - the X2 is now manufactured by Mobinnova.

Toshiba's TG01 will be the first Windows Mobile phone to sport a 1.0GHz processor from Qualcomm. In fact it will be the first phone ever to use such a powerful processor. But despite the fact the TG01 isn't exactly available so far, Qualcomm has already announced a new processor, a 1.3GHz new Snapdragon.
