Verizon to Launch BlackBerry Storm 3 and Curve 3 Too?

Verizon to Launch BlackBerry Storm 3 and Curve 3 Too?

Verizon seems to be on a roll lately! After the Motorola Droid X, the new Android smartphone of the company, the carrier will launch the Droid 2 at some point in August and, later down the road, the BlackBerry Storm 3 and BlackBerry Curve 3.

We don't have all the official details just yet but it looks like the Storm 3 and Curve 3 are getting ready to be launched at some point this winter, probably just before the holidays. We're definitely going to get an official announcement by then as RIM also has to unveil a couple of other BlackBerry handsets rumored to arrive in the following months.

T-Mobile Rumored Not to Carry the BlackBerry Pearl 3G

T-Mobile Rumored Not to Carry the BlackBerry Pearl 3G

The BlackBerry Pearl 3G has been just made official at WES 2010 and, while some carriers out there are anxiously waiting to sell the phone to its subscribers, it looks like T-Mobile USA is not that interested in offering the smartphone to U.S. customers.

T-Mobile did sell the original Pearl and it's weird to hear the carrier isn't willing to pick up the 3G version of this popular phone. T-Mobile is rumored to skip the Pearl in favor of a Curve 3G handset that should arrive at some point in the future.

T-Mobile Replaces For Free BlackBerry Pearl and Curve Trackballs

T-Mobile Replaces For Free BlackBerry Pearl and Curve Trackballs

In case you own a BlackBerry Pearl or Curve smartphone and you're one of T-Mobile's customers then you might be interested to hear that the carrier has decided to replace damaged trackballs for free. The promotion applies to BlackBerry Pearl 8100 and 8120 and the Curve 8320.

Starting with February 15 you will be able to get a new trackball and replace the one that's giving you a headache. The best way of removing those problems for good is replacing the trackball with a trackpad. Unfortunately for your wallet in order to do that you'll have to switch from your old Pearl or Curve to a newer BlackBerry smartphone.

BlackBerry Curve 8910 Atlas Picture Leaked

BlackBerry Curve 8910 Atlas Picture Leaked

It looks like we were right about that BlackBerry Curve 8910 which we showed you yesterday. The smartphone does exist and it will arrive in various Asian and European markets soon. In fact we even have the picture to prove it although you won't be able to see that many details about the 8900 successor.

The smartphone is going to offer you a touchpad instead of the regular trackball, 256MB of RAM, a 624MHz processor, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi support and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Unfortunately there's no 3G support to be found and I'm afraid that EDGE is simply not going to be enough for such a phone.

BlackBerry Curve 8910 Spotted in the Wild

BlackBerry Curve 8910 Spotted in the Wild

A new BlackBerry smartphone has been spotted in the wild. Well it wasn't actually in the wild yet but it was waiting for a Bluetooth SIG certification. Judging by the special number one could simply say that the Curve 8910 is a Curve 8900 successor.

Is that true? Will the Curve2 be launched in the near future? Where will it arrive first? We'd like to be able to tell you that already but we don't have any official source for those answers.
