O2 has launched a new mysterious website with details of their latest Pocket PC and it is the O2 Xda Atom Exec.
The O2 Xda Atom Exec Pocket PC features an Intel XScale PXA 27x processor 520MHz which is capable of running multiple applications seamlessly at one time, 192MB of flash ROM, 64MB SDRAM and an extra miniSD memory card slot. It has a 2.7-inch TFT QVGA LCD display with touch panel and resolutions support of 240 x 320, 2 megapixel CMOS camera with preview mirror located at the side for self portrait, white LED strobe flash and FM radio capability. The supported file formats are MIDI, MP3, WAV, WMA and AMR.
It also has installed Windows Media Player 10 with equalizer controls and 64- chord MIDI, MP3, WAV and WMA ring tone formats. Other great built-in stuff includes wireless LAN, infrared IrDA, Bluetooth, Integrated GSM/GPRS, high-speed EDGE phone, stereo audio jack and mini USB connector. The whole system is powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 which comes with Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile , Direct Push Technology, Microsoft Office programs and Pocket MSN. Xda Atom Exec weights 140 grams with the size of 58 x 102 x 18.5 mm.

O2 Germany has just expanded the portfolio of Windows Mobile phones in Germany with the launch of O2 Xda Comet. But there is one catch and this is the lack of unlimited flat rate for mobile internet access in O2 pricelist, so probably not many people will use the HSDPA feature of this phone.

O2 Germany just announced its latest Xda windows mobile smartphone called O2 Xda Guide. It is supposed to replace the Xda orbit 2. Like all their phone the Xda guide will have the O2's exclusive design and is running on Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7225 CPU at 528 MHz and features GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA in addition to Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi b/g and GPS. The Xda Guide comes with a 2.8" QVGA touchscreen and sports a 3.2 megapixel camera, 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM which can be expanded by microSD cards. A 1 GB microSD card is part of the sales package and holds TomTom Navigator 7 (with maps for Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

O2 UK are currently prepairing the newest addition in their smartphone portfolio - O2 XDA IQ. This device is a variation of HTC Tornado and is also known as QTek 8310, Dopod 577W and iMate SP5.
The O2 XDA IQ will come with the hi-res 240x320 pixel screen, 1.3 Megapixel camera, bluetooth and Windows Mobile 5.0 with the push-email facility.
The major plus point of this device is that it has wireless access so you'll be able to reach WiFi Access Points and browse the internet at very quick speeds.
The addition of WiFi into the O2 XDA IQ is bound to create interest, especially when it the second WiFi enabled Smartphone on a UK network.
