It looks like Nokia has some interesting plans for next year. Although nothing is official, word on the street is that Nokia wants to launch dual SIM phones in the second quarter of 2010. Is that something we secretly crave for?

Sure we live busy lives and carrying two phones can sometimes be pretty annoying, but do we really need dual SIM phones from Nokia? Let's say that you need one private line for your family and friends but you also need a professional, work-related phone. Wouldn't you want to use a smartphone for your work-related phone calls, SMS messages and emails and a regular, not-so-smartphone for your private calls?

Acer today unveiled the world's first Windows Mobile-powered smartphone with dual-SIM support for both HSDPA and EDGE networks.

This means that users of the Acer Tempo DX900 simultaneously use two SIM cards, with both able to take advantage of high-speed data connections.

HTC seems hot today, doesn't it? We've talked about the S740 and the upcoming T8290, we're moving on to some older, but then again not that old, devices from HTC. Both HTC Touch Dual and HTC Touch Cruise are going to get upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1. I guess some HTC owners are going to feel happier today right?
