and it turns out that AT&T decided to finally officially release it. And it seems that we were right on that pricing issue! The phone will cost $299.99 with a $100 mail-in rebate and with a new 2-year contract which also mandates that you choose a minimum $30 per month data plan.

. The combined effort between Garmin and Asus assured anyone that the Nuvifone was going to be a success. Unfortunately the phone got more and more delayed and as we speak it hasn't been launched yet in most markets.

The long awaited Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 and M20 are heading this month into Taiwan, these feature rich Linux based smartphones should surely cause a stir amongst fanboys and normal smartphone lovers alike.You all may remember Asus-Garmin and those nice looking GPS centric phones awhile back, well the Linux OS which is at the heart of the handset is now dead, R.I.P.
