Google has launched a new HTML5 powered Google Voice Application for iPhone and Palm Smartphones. It will provide a richer & faster web-based experience to users having devices that are running iPhone 3.0 software and above or Palm webOS. HTML5 is a new web technology that provides more flexibility and interoperability, and enables more interactive and exciting websites and applications.

The new Google Voice App. provides an optimized voice inbox, free of cost sending & recieving of text messages and the ability to create homescreen icons. It also allows users to use their Google Voice number as their outbound caller ID.

As we speak T-Mobile USA is having problems with its voice and data services and the outage is affecting customers nationwide. Calls are failing everywhere as users report busy tones and dropped calls. What's strange about it is that is that the signal bars are full so everything should work fine.

You're probably more than familiar with Google's Google Voice freeware application by now. The app is compatible with most platforms out there although there is one in particular where Google Voice isn't officially supported for now.
