May 09 T-Mobile Launches HTC Touch Diamond Plans

Since we have showed you already leaked pictures of the HTC P3470, and also mentioned the HTC Touch Diamond which was released this Tuesday in London, let's take a deeper look at what T-Mobile is going to do with this cool looking device.

Let's indulge a moment of specs for the HTC Touch Diamond : Qualcomm MSM7201A CPU running at 528 MHz, a GPU (graphics processing unit - up to 64MB) tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, HSUPA, GPS, WiFi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, FM radio, a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and a VGA CMOS camera up front.

T-Mobile will start selling it with some of their regular plans this July. New Yorkers (for now) will have 3G at their disposal but other major cities in the US will follow. After this baby leaves FCC's testing offices, HTC Touch Diamond will be the first to launch packed with Windows Mobile 6.1 and besides FM radio and YouTube videos you'll be able to store plenty of data and documents on the 4GB it comes with by default.

May 09 Spotted: HTC P3470

Some of us have been waiting for that Spotted HTC P3470 since it was announced back in February. Apparently some careless HTC employees conveniently laid out these devices on the table to be photographed. Or did they simply do that too? The HTC P3470 is the second on the left, first row!

HTC announced earlier this week the new HTC Touch Diamond in London. How many of you were actually waiting for a full release of the HTC P3470? How many of you are still waiting for it now that the Diamond has surfaced? It still has to pass FCC's approval but that is days away. HTC launched their latest mass affordable touchscreen phone with GPS on 11 February at Mobile World Congress. It combines a lightweight design, large screen, satellite navigation software and strong battery life, but lacks WiFi. With these specifications the P3470 sets a new standard in affordable smartphone GPS-based devices.

HTC P3470 has built-in TomTom Navigator 6, which is one of the best sat-nav solution for your PDA or mobile phone. The intuitive interface, crystal clear instructions and easy call handling make it the ideal navigation partner for the P3470. The touch interface and large 2.8in screen ensure the AGPS-enabled sat-nav is easy to use, and the HTC P3470 is truly mobile thanks to the long battery life. Dec 20 HTC Releases Bluetooth Hot Fix for HTC Touch

HTC has just released new patch for the HTC Touch. It is supposed to fix the dropping calls problem which sometimes occurs when bluetooth is on.

Dropped calls sometimes occur when Bluetooth is on. If you encountered the same problem, please download this Bluetooth Hot Fix and install it on your device.

Nov 21 HTC Touch Cruise Reviewed

HTC has recently released the HTC Touch Cruise, which has more memory, fast processor, WiFi, 3.5G (HSDPA and video calling included) and even built-in GPS. And today its first review is online thanks to the Gears from coolsmartphone site.



I took this device on a day out. We decided to go to the local safari park and, I'll be honest, I had no way of knowing how to get there. I turned on the Tom Cruise (now that sounds weird) and punched in the postcode. It located me, directed me all the way and I received some emails during the journey. The combination of the wheel plus the HTC TouchFLO system makes one-handed or even one-finger operation so simple and easy - it really is the wheel reinvented. An email pops up, I click the action button, scroll the wheel around to select a mail from the list, click again and then I use the TouchFLO system to quickly hop into Internet Explorer to see what time the safari park is open until. Even better, when I get there I can take fairly brilliant photos with the 3 megapixel camera and then I can make a video call to a member of my family and say, "Look at this elephant! Woow!"

The device we tested is network free, so you can pick whatever SIM card or network you fancy and get going without any problems. Yes, obviously there's no keyboard, but there is WiFi, 3G, quad-band connectivity, video calling, GPS, microSD storage and you get a smooth experience thanks to the 400Mhz CPU. This isn't just a navigation tool, this is a capable, well designed and well thought-out device which takes the success of the HTC Artemis to the next level.

Here is one just released and hot application you can enjoy. It is the finger friendly keyboard for HTC Touch and it comes with with 2 different interfaces(one for fast one finger clicking and one with big buttons which should be tapped 2 times for example to get the second letter of the button) It is quite similar to typing with your regular cell phone with numbers keypad.

The keyboard is available in five different languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish. It also has the XT9 dictionary tool will help you type the correct word always and it could also suggest you the nest word which could save you some extra typing. Oct 11 HTC P3300 gets Windows Mobile 6 update

If you own HTC P3300 you will be happy with the following news. HTC has just released official Windows Mobile 6 upgrade. The P3300, which has good GPS functions and a trick navigation control that HTC call the HTC RollR, was expecting this update from some time and now it is reality.
