T-Mobile to Launch HTC HD2, Nokia Nuron and Motorola CLIQ XT in March

T-Mobile to Launch HTC HD2, Nokia Nuron and Motorola CLIQ XT in March

The leaked slideshow here clearly shows some of the phones T-Mobile USA is getting ready to launch in the first quarter of 2010. Since it's February already and the MWC 2010 is coming soon we'll be more interested to see what the carrier is about to offer us in March.

And T-Mobile has some interesting phones for its subscribers. We've known for a while that the HTC HD2 is getting ready for a March launch in the USA so we're not that surprised to see it appear on the leaked slide.

HTC HD2 Finally Receives Its Stand

HTC HD2 Finally Receives Its Stand

What's the matter with all these smartphones demanding stands all of a sudden? Is that a feature that we will require from all hot upcoming handsets? The HTC HD2 is the phone we're looking at today and it also has a kickstand.

The device also doubles as an extra battery and it can be yours today for the price of just £41.11. By that I mean of course that British folks can pre-order it right now but it will only have it shipped to their door at some point in March. That's not a bad offer considering that previous pricing details suggested that this HD2 stand will cost a lot more, somewhere around £85.

Euro HTC HD2 Smartphone Has Hidden RAM?

Euro HTC HD2 Smartphone Has Hidden RAM?

HTC has announced that the U.S.-bound HTC HD2 will get some upgrades. The phone is coming to T-Mobile and the upgrade might just mean that the HD2 will be upgradeable to Windows Mobile 7 once Microsoft announces the new OS this year.

As soon as people found out that the U.S. HD2 will have 576MB of RAM instead of 448MB of RAM like the European version they started to wonder whether the Euro version could also have as much RAM. And it looks like HTC has hidden 128MB of RAM in the Euro version of the HTC HD2.

HTC Supersonic Android Phone in the Wild

HTC Supersonic Android Phone in the Wild

The Supersonic is HTC's first Android phone that's going to be able to deliver WiMAX speeds and the handset is coming to Sprint later this year. The phone is not official yet although it has been leaked already. It was only a matter of time until the first pictures showing the devices in the wild popped all over the Internet.

As you can see, the Supersonic looks like it's going to be a more that decent Android device. Rumored to run Android 2.1, the Supersonic will surely be able to compete with Motorola's upcoming Android smartphones and the Nexus One. Moreover the Supersonic should have similar specs to the HTC HD2. The difference is that the later will run just Windows Mobile 6.5 and not be able to offer 4G speeds.

HTC HD2 Gets New Features for the U.S. Market

HTC HD2 Gets New Features for the U.S. Market

The HTC HD2 is the hottest Windows Mobile phone available out there at this point. Hopefully the phone has what it takes to be upgradeable to Windows Mobile 7 although it might be a while until the new OS will be upon us.

Not all current phones will have the necessary hardware features to run Microsoft's latest OS and maybe that's why the U.S. version of the HD2 will get some more than welcomed upgrades.

HTC 2010 Roadmap Gets Leaked

HTC 2010 Roadmap Gets Leaked

HTC is going to have another busy year. The company is getting ready to launch new handsets and MWC 2010 might be the right time to announce new smartphones. While we're still waiting to see what Windows Mobile 7 phones HTC is ready to invent, we have a pretty good idea what Android smartphones to expect.

In fact seven unannounced handsets have already been leaked already although we expect HTC to launch even more Android handsets this year. While we don't have all the details about these upcoming devices, we do know what to expect from them:

T-Mobile Google Nexus One Fix Unofficially Available

T-Mobile Google Nexus One Fix Unofficially Available

The biggest problem of the Google Nexus One so far is the lack of proper 3G connectivity. Google, T-Mobile and HTC are yet to issue a fix but it looks like we have some good news for you. Although not official the fix could offer you some high-speed 3G connectivity.

What you have to basically do is simply go to the settings menu and let the smartphone "Select Automatically" from the networks it can choose from. Sure this is not a final fix but it will apparently get you the 3G connection you need.

HTC Supersonic WiMAX Phone Coming to Sprint

HTC Supersonic WiMAX Phone Coming to Sprint

A while back ago we told you that Sprint gets ready to launch a WiMAX phone made by HTC. Dubbed the HTC A9292, the handset in question appears to be the HTC Supersonic. The phone has just been leaked and we might see it in action in a short while.

Even more interesting is the fact that the Supersonic will run Android 2.1 which makes it the first WiMAX-ready Android phone coming from HTC and Sprint. Unfortunately we have no arrival dates and pricing details at this point and it might take a while until Sprint actually starts selling it.

Rogers Recalls HTC Dreams to Fix Emergency Call Issues

Rogers Recalls HTC Dreams to Fix Emergency Call Issues

Just earlier this week we told you how Rogers is going ahead with the HTC Dream upgrade to the Magic. Well it looks like not everything is going as smooth as one would think.

Sure the upgrade is absolutely free and it only requires you to sign a new contract but not everyone will fall for that trick. In fact some people will still want the Dream over the Magic. But the Dream is not available in Rogers stores anymore.
