HTC Incredible to Arrive from Verizon in Two Weeks Time?

HTC Incredible to Arrive from Verizon in Two Weeks Time?

Well this is certainly good news! It looks that not only will Sprint launch the first 4G Android smartphone in the very near future but its main CDMA competitor in the USA, Verizon Wireless, is getting ready to launch its own hot Android smartphone. I am talking about the HTC Incredible, an Android smartphone we've seen get leaked before which is now rumored to arrive in two weeks time.

Verizon hasn't officially mentioned the device but it looks that sources close to the matter have leaked the information. Of course it could all be bogus so we'll have to wait for CTIA to arrive and see if Verizon is willing to confirm anything.

HTC Supersonic to Arrive from Sprint Next Week?

HTC Supersonic to Arrive from Sprint Next Week?

You know what the HTC Supersonic is, don't you? Well it's only the first and only 4G Android smartphone scheduled to come to Sprint customers in the USA as previously suggested. But now we hear something a lot more interesting as it looks like Sprint is interesting in launching the hot smartphone sooner than expected.

Various voices over the Internet are currently saying that the Supersonic is heading to Sprint next week. The carrier is expected to announce it at CTIA and even make it available thereafter.

HTC Desire in Silver Chassis Ready for AT&T?

HTC Desire in Silver Chassis Ready for AT&T?

Google might not have sold that many Google Nexus One units in the past two months and a half and it might never will particularly since its partner, HTC, rolled a very hot and very much similar smartphone to the Nexus One at MWC 2010. I am talking about the HTC Desire which is coming to various carriers later this year.

We have looked at the device extensively here at MobileTopSoft, but now we spotted a different color of the Desire which could suggest that the Android smartphone could be heading to AT&T at some point in the future.

Google Nexus One Coming To Sprint

Google Nexus One Coming To Sprint

Here's some news for everyone, the Google Nexus One is making its way to Sprint later in the year, not only that but Verizon is poised to be making a similar announcement so everyone has always been perving at Google sex-machine, this is time to pick one up on the cheap along with a 2 or 3yr contract of course.

No here's the thing, you'll still be required to buy the phone from Google themselves, the Nexus One will not be sold in stores just strictly online, I guess we now know why after 74 days Google only sold 135,000 of these bad boys, or it could be because the phone was never available for the likes of Sprint and Verizon which are larger networks compared to T-Mobile.

Google Sold 135,000 Nexus Ones In 1st 74 Days

Google Sold 135,000 Nexus Ones In 1st 74 Days

Not really surprising here, Google only sold 135,000 Nexus Ones in the first 74 days since the handset went on sale, but don't jump to conclusions now and talk about how much the handset has flopped, far from it. The research done by Mobile search firm Flurry, has shown how pathetic the Google Nexus One sales were in its first 74 days compared to the iPhone and Motorola DROID. The DROID surprisingly came out on top with 1.5 million sales, Apple iPhone played second with 1 million and Google's little baby at the meager number of 135,000.

Now, lets see why the Google Nexus One appears to be a complete flop, first off, the DROID was pushed with a $100 million marketing campaign by Verizon, the Apple iPhone had the Apple branding behind it and at the time, it was the hottest thing on the market, the one phone that changed the whole industry to what it is today. Google's little toy? Really good phone but it didn't get the marketing push it deserves, the phone is only available online at Google's Store and launched out on T-Mobile which is one of the smaller networks in the U.S. Then we have to take into consideration one more thing, how many consumers out there would actually buy a phone without testing it out? One cannot do that with the Nexus One unless you're lucky.

HTC HD3 Rumored to be In the Making

HTC HD3 Rumored to be In the Making

So Microsoft MIX has confirmed one thing we feared the most, the HTC HD2 will not be upgradeable to Windows Phone 7. But as I said earlier, we count on HTC to make an HD2 successor worthy of our attention.

And it looks like HTC is working on exactly that, at least if recent rumors are to be believed. So don't get to excited folks, at least not until we see something official from HTC and its partners in the mobile business.

HTC HD2 Not to be Upgraded to Windows Phone 7

HTC HD2 Not to be Upgraded to Windows Phone 7

We've waited and waited for Microsoft's MIX conference to arrive and we can now tell you officially that Redmond will not support Windows Phone 7 upgrades for the HTC HD2. The decision is final and it might not be very well received by HTC HD2 fans out there.

One of the main reasons the HTC HD2 can't handle Windows Phone 7, at least according to Microsoft, is the fact that it has too many physical buttons.

HTC to Launch Touch Pro3 Later This Summer

HTC to Launch Touch Pro3 Later This Summer

Even if HTC is thinking about the pending Apple lawsuit that doesn't mean the smartphone maker will stop launching hot handsets. In fact, we have a new rumor on our hands saying that HTC is thinking about launching a new addition to the Touch Pro line later this year.

The HTC Touch Pro3 is apparently scheduled to arrive later this summer. Unfortunately that means the Touch Pro3 will be a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone since Windows Phone 7 will only arrive this fall or even later this year. It will be interesting to see however if the HTC Touch Pro3 will have the hardware needed to make an eventual upgrade to Windows Phone 7 possible. What do you say?

HTC Desire and Legend Confirmed for Vodafone UK

HTC Desire and Legend Confirmed for Vodafone UK

The HTC Desire and the HTC Legend are probably two of the hottest Android smartphones of the moment and Vodafone UK is definitely interested into making the most of them. Both handsets are going to be available in Vodafone UK stores soon giving customers plenty of Android choices particularly since the Google Nexus One and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 are also heading to Vodafone UK.

The Legend is said to be available exclusively to Vodafone customers in the UK and it will come preloaded with a bunch of Vodafone 360 services like Vodafone Music and My Web although that shouldn't affect in any way the Android experience HTC has prepared for you.

Google Nexus One Hitting Verizon With Sense UI

Google Nexus One Hitting Verizon With Sense UI

I for one hate all the different User Interfaces available out there for Android, I believe users should have a choice to choose whether or not they want to use anything different from the default Android UI. If I buy an HTC Hero, it should have an option at start up that asks me if I want to use the Sense UI or not, if I choose to use the Sense UI then the option must be there for me to remove it, plain and damn simple. This is why I am leaning towards Windows Phone Series 7 here, no matter, the UI will be the same on all devices as it should be.

Ok, so rumors are popping up like popcorns around the interwebs regarding the Google Nexus One, and HTC Sense UI, apparently Verizon will be stocking the device but their version will differentiate itself by incorporating the Sense UI, right away we have two different versions of the same phone, someone who owns the original would most likely need to learn the UI all over again if they choose to jump on the Verizon ship. One should be able to jump from any number of Android based handsets and get right in without tinkering with the different UIs, this is BS and Google need to take some of the power from manufactures like Microsoft did.
