Let the hype train begins ladies and gents, Windows Mobile handset maker I-mate is said to have something big to show the world next month, I wonder what that could be.
The Mobile World Congress is getting closer and closer and we're anxiously waiting for it. It will reveal various new phones and various software solutions for them. We know what to expect from some companies but we'd also love to be surprised.

i-mate JAMA 201 Windows Mobile 6 Standard smartphone has just been presented by i-mate, in addition to i-mate JAMA 101. Supporting triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz as well and Bluetooth, the JAMA 201 lacks WiFi and UMTS also.
The JAMA 201 is powered by a Samsung CPU at 300 MHz and sports 128 MB of ROM and 64 MB RAM which can be extended by microSD memory cards. It also has the same 2 megapixel autofocus camera with flash like the JAMA 101.
i-mate JAMA 201 is infact interesting smartphone which seems to be the WM6 based follower of the previously released i-mate JAQ smartphones.
i-mate has just extended its range of JAMA smartphones. The have unveiled the i-mate JAMA 101 Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone with support for triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz as well and Bluetooth, but lack of WiFi and UMTS.
i-mate JAMA 101 has 2.4 inch touchscreen and is powered by a Samsung CPU at 300 MHz. It sports 128 MB of ROM and 64 MB RAM which can be extended by microSD memory cards. You can also shoot videos and photos with it's 2 megapixel autofocus camera with flash. The standby time is given with 150 hours, the talk time is given with 4 hours.
This device probably will not have high price tag and reminds quite much on the HTC Prophet.
