If you want to get yourself and iPhone 3GS and jailbreak it then you should do it already. Rumors are coming in and it looks like Apple has big plans for the upcoming iPhone 3GS units and jailbreaking might be out of the question.

It looks like Apple is really annoyed with the iPhone Dev Team's capability of always jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhones. Therefore the company has decided to take action and change the bootrom of the iPhone 3GS. Thew new bootrom is supposed to be resistant to the 24kpwn exploit used by the Dev Team to jailbreak the device.

Just recently the XDA Developers figured out how to Jailbreak the T-mobile G1 which the geeks gobble up like hot bread pasted in butter, but just days after Google is clamping down on the fun.

The XDA Developers Forum have figured out how to gain full access to the G1's code and jailbreak it entirely. Like the iPhone before it, the G1 is not easy to jailbreak but if you just follow some simple instructions then everything will be merry.
