One of the most important additions to the Windows Mobile universe is probably the Windows Marketplace. We have talked about it
in the past while observing Microsoft's progress with its new app store. And now that Windows Mobile 6.5 is closing in the Marketplace will inevitably catch most of the headlines.

Back in August we posted article about Registration and Submission processes in Windows Marketplace, and now here is the Windows Marketplace for Mobile: Application Submission Walkthrough Video. The Microsoft's Marketplace team has put together the following two walkthroughs for Windows Marketplace Registration and Application Submission.
Microsoft has just put up a section on their website to showcase some of the Windows Phone Applications which we assume will be available in the Marketplace. They have clearly given more focus to Business Focused Apps, but you guys might recognize some of the Apps like Wunder Radio, Resco Sudoku, etc from the Life Style Section.
The long awaited Windows Mobile App Store is coming soon, I know that fans of the platform will be excited but things will start off a bit slow before it gets better.
At the end of the summer we're hoping to see the Marketplace in action filled with Windows Mobile 6.5 applications. But it looks like Microsoft will not have that many apps to brag with in the first place. Rumors say that only 600 applications will be available to download in September 2009.

Microsoft has cleared the air around Marketplace application sharing. Microsoft said earlier that it will allow buyers to run purchased apps on up to five phones. Or re-install the apps again on your phone after reset for up to five times. Some speculated that this rule will let buyers actually share those applications with their friends and family.
