YouTube for Mobile is a Java app that should in theory run on any smart handset, but for the moment YouTube claims it is only suitable for use with the Nokia N73, N95, E65, 6110 and 6120 and the SonyEricsson k800 and w880 phones. Here is one video demonstration i stumbled across today. It show HP's iPAQ Product line for 2007. Beside the somehow amateurish explanation this is the first clear view of the 600's navigation wheel in actual work.
The quality is not the best, but shows quite well the new iPAQs. Enjoy
Here you can view specifications of latest HP iPAQs.

These days there are quite many programs available for remote controling desktop computer applications from mobile phone, for example controling Windows Media Player, but since now there was no application to control Apple iTunes. Today one software attract my attention with its idea - Remote controling Apple iTunes desktop application from Symbian OS based phones. This program is called PhoneTunes and what actualy does is providing an Apple iTunes interface for Your Symbian based Smartphone, allowing you to control your music collection from the comfort of your phone.
PhoneTunes has an application installed on the Phone and another on the PC. PhoneTunes client is very "clever" if i can say application, because it collates a database of your entire music collection directly onto the phone and this means no slow connecting and browsing between the phone and the PC - all you music is right there on your phone. The phone connects to the PC using either a Bluetooth, WiFi or GPRS\3G connection.
PhoneTunes Features:
* Seamless Bluetooth Integration (support for the Widcomm, Toshiba, BlueSoleil, Microsoft and other common bluetooth stacks)
* Simple configuration - works right out of the box! Direct access to the bluetooth stack, no slow browsing-for bluetooth devices or time spent attempting to connect-to a Bluetooth device - it just works!
* Supports Bluetooth, WiFi or even GPRS\3G connections
* Phone is automatically updated when you add iTunes tracks
* Support for queuing individual tracks, albums or whole playlists
* Skip forward or back in the playlist from the smartphone
* Pause current track from the smartphone
* Adjust the iTunes volume from the smartphone
* Extra hidden features - you gotta find them, we are not telling you what they are. But they are way cool.
PhoneTunes is available for free download at Symbian Freeware site.

holy smokes - what have these guys done - this is the reaction of our reader Richard Wang after installing and interacting with one of the latest free programs for Pocket PC devices. The program is Avot mV and it lets you watch videos from YouTube, Dailymotion, Google and many more on your windows mobile based device. What actualy
Avot mV does is searching videos from the those sites and playing them smoothly and choppy on your screen.
The Avot mV solution allows users to browse through the aggregated video channels and directory of billions of videos from video sharing sites. Also, the users can organize video playlists using Avot mV making your mobile phone a video jukebox on the go. The application has really fast Search and even better Playback functions, which makes it almost ideal solution for playing videos. Avot mV hasnt yet been officially released to the public, but is available for all to start testing.
