Good news, Samsung Omnia II lovers! It looks like Verizon is finally ready to sell the device. The phone has already been made available in Canada by Bell so it was about time for Verizon to announce it too.

Big Red start selling the phone through all channels around December 2. And the Omnia II will be priced at $199.99, as expected, with a $100 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year contract.

We finally have a Windows Mobile phone in the news. Sure the Omnia II is a handset we have been expecting for a while now but I'm still glad to see a phone capable of running Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5 for a change.

Samsung Omnia Pro B7610, which appeared back in July, is about to be released with a design that's different than what we saw until now. The video confirms the specifications, which includes video out and Team Manager, a way to easily send SMS and other messages to multiple people. We can see a cool headphones in the video, which hopefully will be included in the box.

Here is video of the Samsung Omnia 2 ToucWiz UI in action. The 800 Mhz processor clearly shows its power is smooth animations and Youtube video playback. It also shows the samsung 3d media cube and the new Opera browser.

Samsung modified the opera such that the bookmark page is now in 3D when the phone is in landscape mode, and the zoom is one-finger zoom. Lastly, tested the opera with a few sites to test its javascript and flash.

One of the better Windows Mobile smartphone coming out later this year is the Samsung Omnia GT i8000, the TouchWiz interface really does a great job at hiding the ugly and lack luster original Windows Mobile interface, check out more in the video.
