Automattic, Inc has made us and we hope those of you who blog very happy with their WordPress client app for Android and BlackBerry phones. They both are pretty cool apps and lets you write new posts, edit content, and manage comments with built-in notifications. With support for both WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress (2.7 or higher) blog you have a lot of writing power in your pocket. 
In case you're currently living in the UK and you are interested in Palm Pre handsets then boy do we have good news for you. EA Mobile has decided to offer three free 3D games with every handset. These games are The Sims 3, Monopoly and Need for Speed Undercover.
You must certainly be familiar with at least a couple of them and now EA and Palm are going to make sure you get them free of charge should you be interested in getting a new Pre in the UK.

Palm has decided to temporarily stop production of Palm Pre, Palm Pre Plus, Palm Pixi and Palm Pixi Plus smartphones. That means that neither Sprint nor Verizon will get as many webOS smartphones in the very future so you'll either have to buy one now or wait until March in case supplies don't lest.
Don't worry though; everything is fine with the company. What happened here is that Palm increased production before February and now it is giving its main manufacturer a break for the following weeks.

You know what your Palm smartphone needs? A new firmware update and that's exactly what it will get. According to recent rumors and leaks it seems that webOS 1.4 will be rolled out on February 15. Given the peculiar date we could always assume that Palm is going to make some kind of webOS-related announcement at MWC 2010 which is about to debut next week.
One of the most important features the new firmware will bring is video recording and video editing capabilities. That's certainly something you'd want to have on your webOS handset, wouldn't you?

In case you own a Palm Pre and you'd like to play Game Boy games on it then all you have to do is install VisualBoyAdvance on your webOS smartphone right now. In fact some Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games might also work right now on your Pre handset.
Game Boy and Game Boy Color games work perfectly but Game Boy Advance games like Mario Kart Short Circuit can only offer about 60% of the normal speed with the sound enabled and 90% of the normal speed if you decide to ditch the sound for more performance.

We've seen Verizon make the Plus versions of the Palm and Pre official already and now it looks like Best Buy is also going to sell the two smartphones all over the USA. The phones should be available shortly and if webOS is your favorite OS in the world then maybe you'll want to try one on Verizon's network.
Best Buy has not started selling them but reports suggests that various locations already have them in stock so if you're lucky you might get a glimpse of your future Palm Pre Plus or Palm Pixi Plus earlier than expected.

Last week we found the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus rumored prices for you and it looks like Verizon has decide to confirm everything. Big Red has made those pricing details official so get ready to buy them next Monday, January 25.
Both webOS phones will be available for subsidized prices if purchased with new 2-year contracts from Verizon. The Palm Pre Plus will cost $149.99 after rebates and subsidies while the Palm Pre Pixi will be available for $99.99 on contract.

T-Mobile USA is going to launch a new HTC mobile phone. The HTC Espresso also known as the MyTouch Slide and the myTouch2 will apparently be available in American T-Mobile stores starting this May.
The phone is scheduled for a May 17 launch but we have no prices just yet. The Android device will come with Android 2.1 on board and is said to sport a 528MHz processor, a full QWERTY keyboard and a 320 x 480 display.

We have previously told you
how Verizon will launch the Palm Pre and the Pixi at some point in 2010. Well it looks like Verizon has special plans for Palm's webOS smartphones. The carrier will launch upgraded versions of the phones in question so if you're a webOS fan you should definitely consider getting a Pre or a Pixi from Big Red.
The Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus haven't been officially announced yet but a specs sheet covering both devices has been conveniently leaked.
