LG is apparently working on a new Android phone which will hit Korean market in 2010. The phone is going to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor on board which makes it a lot more interesting than LG’s current Android smartphone, the GW620 aka Eve.

Toshiba’s TG01 will be the first Windows Mobile phone to sport a 1.0GHz processor from Qualcomm. In fact it will be the first phone ever to use such a powerful processor. But despite the fact the TG01 isn’t exactly available so far, Qualcomm has already announced a new processor, a 1.3GHz new Snapdragon.

One degenerated rivalry is the well known Nokia-Qualcomm situation. Their conflict has apparently reached a surprising truce. With only one day of arbitration the company managed to do what was thought to be impossible by some: come to terms. Both Nokia and Qualcomm finally understood the fact that their squabble over products and patents will only harm their consumers. And that’s us of course.

Qualcomm wants to go strong in the mobile world. They apparently plan to develop a handset which would be using the Windows Mobile 7 OS. And bare in mind that there are so many smartphones out there that haven’t even come close to upgrading to version 6.1 of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS.
