Samsung i600 smartphone which is a European version of Samsung BlackJack, but with WiFi, has just received Windows Mobile 6 upgrade.

Here is one very interesting Pocket PC phone by Samsung spotted at GITEX this week (it looks very much like the i600 model, which recently get a WM6 upgrade). The interesting part about it is that it has navigable mouse pointer, which perhaps is controlled by by some kind of scroller mechanism underneath the screen, and you can move the pointer by the d-pad.

Samsung has shown the face of their latest Windows Mobile powered Smartphone, the Samsung SGH-i620. It is not available yet but some carriers hinted its existence already. And as it looks like it follows the SGH-i600 philosophy with one addition, it slides.

Samsung SGH-i620 has already been found under the T-Mobiles Downloads section. This Slider Smartphone comes with QWERTY keyboard, two cameras which permit the conclusion on HSDPA and UMTS, Windows Mobile 6 Standard and very probably a Samsung processor.

At the moment i am aware of two version of this smartphone and they are SGH-i620 and SGH-i620V (V is for the Vodafone version) according to the Global Certification Forum.

Orange UK has just made available one of the most talked and popular Windows Mobile Smartphones, the Samsung SGH-i600. This gives opportunity to their business customers to use its powerful functions and options.

Samsung are hitting the market with their latest Windows Mobile 5 based handheld, the Samsung i718.

It is maybe the thinnest Pocket PC Phone among all (only 13.5MM). It is quite light and relatively fast working but with the lack of WiFi, 3G/HSDPA, GPS and WM6.

The Samsung i760 Pocket PC Phone Edition, destined for the Verizon network in the US, will be running Windows Mobile Crossbow as we learn from Engadget mobile. This will be nice addition for the new capabilities for Smartphones included in the Crossbow.

The Crossbow powered Samsung i760 very probably will hit the shelves before the first half of the year.

Samsung Electronics and Microsoft have launched the Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, with HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) support.

The Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 also sports a full QWERTY keyboard and measures only 11.8mm and weighing a mere 99g. In addition to supporting the HSDPA network for faster data transfer speeds, it also allows communications through high-speed connectivity via Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR. The device comes with 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM for storage, but memory can be expanded through a microSD memory slot.

Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 Smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 with Direct Push Technology. In addition to its push email capability, users can view Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and image formats including BMP, JPEG and GIF with Picsel Viewer. With two integrated digital cameras (1.3 megapixels in the back and VGA in the front), users can also conduct 3G video calls from the phone.

The Windows Media Player 10 Mobile and a Bluetooth stereo headset lets you listen to stereo-quality music and view high quality video clips. The Samsung Ultra Messaging i600 also includes a speakerphone, built-in voice recognition and support for a 1.3 megapixel digital camera that can record video.
