Sony Ericsson announces the GreenHeart Aspen Windows Mobile Smartphone

Sony Ericsson has announced a new Windows Mobile Smartphone known as the Aspen, which is targeted towards environment conscious business men. It is part of Sony Ericsson's GreenHeart collection of devices that are made of environment friendly materials purely aimed at preserving the environment. It will come installed with a new version of Windows Mobile 6.5 and will be avilable in the market in Q2 of 2010.

It will come with a whole bunch of useful applications and panels that are as follows: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 (Professional), SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 (Lifestyle), Microsoft Today, Facebook, Panel Manager, SlideView, Google Maps Latitude, Google Mobile Application, Send My Location, Unified Search Application, SPB Traveler and Weather combo, Skype, YouTube panel, Communication City/Day, Communication City/Night, CNN, On-The-Road Panel, Windows Live, Twitter, Gokivo Weather Panel, Eco mate application.

T-Mobile Germany to Launch Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in April

Sony Ericsson's first Android phone, the Xperia X10 is going to be launched soon in various markets. One of them seems to be Germany where T-Mobile Germany is getting ready to offer it to its subscribers. The move seems rather logical considering that T-Mobile USA is also rumored to get the device this year.

The phone is definitely worth checking out but it's going to be too expensive if purchased without a contract. The rumored unlock pricing is somewhere around $860 which is a lot to pay for an Android phone considering that the Nexus One only costs $529 without a contract.

Sony Ericsson Kurara AKA Vivaz coming soon

Details of Sony Ericsson's upcoming Symbian smartphone known as the Kurara were released a few months ago. Now we have news that Sony Ericsson is soon going to officially announce the Kurara and its real name is ‘Vivaz'. The Kurara AKA Vivaz will come with some nice features including support for High Definition video recording. It is expected to be available in selected markets in this quarter.

The Vivaz will have a similar Symbian S60 theme to the Sony Ericsson Satio and it will have a similar design to the upcoming Xperia X10 Android Smartphone. It will cost around $700 and will be available in four colors including Silver Moon, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby.

O2 UK to Launch Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, the first Android handset of the company, will arrive this year in various markets. One of them is the UK and it looks like O2 will have this baby on shelves in the following months. While an official announcement is still pending it looks like O2 already has the Xperia X10 listed on its website so we'll be waiting for an announcement any day now.

The Xperia X10 could play well against the Droid or the Nexus One as it has some very interesting specs. And one could only hope to see more such phones coming from Sony Ericsson this year.
