iLaunch has just been released but here is solution for those of your who wants to customize their Pocket PC's with quite iPhone loooking interface. There wre lots of attempts to be made such iPhone Pocket PC interface but all have been chasen by Apple's lawyers for copyrights but now of particular interest is that the poster is an IP lawyer themselves, and has worked with a graphic artist to design alternative icons (pictured above) to avoid falling foul of Apple's copyrights.

Well, as you may previously read in my posts titled Apple do not annoy me and Dead Clownfish, there is a software which emulates some menu features of the future Apple’s iPhone. Today, I decided to release it into public. I am not the author. I don’t know the author of this software personally. Those are two programs. RE’s Unlocker (for the slide to unlock the screen) and RE’s Launcher (for the menu). Here are some tech-realted information. This software is not written for Mac OSX. We all know that iPhone is supposed to run with Mac OSX build in. As you can see, it is designed for different platform/device - Pocket PC, and it is written in a different programming language - Pocket Programming Language.

With the introduction of Windows Mobile 5.0, Microsoft added more flexibility for carriers to customize the Phone Edition dial-pad which isn't - unfortunately - used so far by most ODMs or carriers. UIQ Technology has started giving away themes for Symbian UIQ 3 devices as part of a PR campaign.

We have recently launched our UIQ Themes campaign where we are releasing one theme at a time, in a series of five. You can easiliy determine the looks and sounds of a phone by installing a new theme. A UIQ Theme contains a skin that affects the color and shape of the UI controls, wallpaper and sounds. The themes work in any phone based on UIQ 3.
