Toshiba is ready to impress us with new Windows Mobile phones but unfortunately for us, neither the TG02 nor the K01 will run Windows Phone 7. Instead they will be Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets, but nonetheless, they are still going to be very hot smartphones.
The TG02 is the successor of the TG01 and it will offer you a 4.1-inch capacitive WVGA touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, Windows Mobile 6.5 and thickness of only 9.99mm.

It's almost February which means that speculation regarding cell phones and OS can already start as the Mobile World Congress in Spain is only two weeks away. One of the phones we might discover there is the TG02 from Toshiba. Last year the company launched a very slim and very powerful TG01 smartphone, the first one to use a 1GHz chip.
But the phone failed to become a best seller and we can only hope that the TG02 will be a far superior handset. Although we have no clear details just yet it looks like the FCC is already checking out Toshiba's latest phone.
