HTC to Launch Touch Pro3 Later This Summer

Even if HTC is thinking about the pending Apple lawsuit that doesn't mean the smartphone maker will stop launching hot handsets. In fact, we have a new rumor on our hands saying that HTC is thinking about launching a new addition to the Touch Pro line later this year.

The HTC Touch Pro3 is apparently scheduled to arrive later this summer. Unfortunately that means the Touch Pro3 will be a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone since Windows Phone 7 will only arrive this fall or even later this year. It will be interesting to see however if the HTC Touch Pro3 will have the hardware needed to make an eventual upgrade to Windows Phone 7 possible. What do you say?

Google Maps v3.4 Brings Multitouch to the Droid

Google Maps v3.4 Brings Multitouch to the Droid

One of the problems of the Motorola Droid was the lack of multitouch. And it would have been fine too if the Motorola Milestone, essentially the non-US Droid version, didn't come with multitouch features enabled. So naturally U.S customers have been also demanding multitouch support. Does that sound familiar? Well Google also forgot to include multitouch support on the Nexus One too.

Luckily for you Google has been working hard on updates lately. The Nexus One OTA update had multitouch support on board and now it looks like the Droid will also get some multitouch love.

Google Nexus One to Get Multitouch Soon

One of the complaints regarding the Google Nexus One, besides the 3G issues customers experienced at launch, was the fact that the U.S. version of the phone doesn't come with multitouch support. The same thing happened with another hot Android device, the Motorola Droid.
