Here are good new for all of us with slightly older VGA devices like HTC Diamond/Touch Pro. And it is that TouchFlo3D 2.5 has been ported to VGA phones. These days the WVGA seems to be the new standard, but the "old school" VGA Touch Diamonds and Pros are still very useful.
We've seen the HTC Leo in the news lately and while European carriers are getting ready to offer it to their anxious customers we can't but remark that the new Windows Mobile 6.5 phone from HTC is coming with a new TouchFLO

HTC TouchFlo 3D 2.6 which is slated for the HTC Leo is looking pretty awesome in this demo video, there are even a few things that look exactly like what is found in the Sense UI found on the HTC Hero.
I am very happy to present you the new version of Manila 2D. It is available for all the QVGA users over there and i can say it works great and has very nice color animation. The great thing with this Manila version is that it comes from HTC Mega and has native QVGA screen resolution so there is no need for porting or resizing of application.

First you need to have installed Diamond TF3D Config installed on your phone. Second step is to
download the theme you want and save it to the following location "Internal Storage\Themes\", if this folder is not available you should create it for yourself. Run the Diamond TF3D Config and
go to its second tab called Appearance. At the top you should view dropdown box, from which you can select the theme you've previously copied. Next steps are to click on Apply button after which you will be shown a new screen with Start button on it. Just tap it and wait few minutes to have the theme correctly installed.
You have to like HTC. They seem to be able to create phones out of nothing. And they are great, dependable handsets, meant to help you no matter what your tasks are. The new HTC Touch HD is one of the phones I am referring to. It will bring you high definition movies, better web surfing and a whole lot more. While you are admiring that widescreen there, I can assure you there's plenty more specs to go with that. Too bad it isn't available right away for testing.

Here is some cool for those who want to have TouchFLO 3D interface to their phones. There is a new TouchFlo 2D out taken from the upcoming HTC Opal by XDA-Dev team. Till now it's been tested on a few devices, the Kaiser (HTC TyTN II), Nike (Touch Dual) and others, I tried it on my TyTN and it's not flawless but works quite cool, and can replace the HTC Home for a while.
