The news comes from Microsoft Canada Mobility Solutions manager Greg Milligan that confirmed, on video (available past the break) that Canada and the U.S. will have simultaneous WP7 handset launches. He also said that we can expect various handsets from LG, HTC and Samsung, but we already know that considering how many leaked devices we've seen lately.

1 Million Samsung Galaxy S Smartphones Sold in the USA

1 Million Samsung Galaxy S Smartphones Sold in the USA

Samsung has proudly announced that it managed to sell no less than 1 million Galaxy S Android smartphones in the USA. That's all the most important since the manufacturer has actually sold just two versions so far, the Captivate, from AT&T and the Vibrant from T-Mobile.

Sprint and Verizon are going to launch their own versions soon, the Epic 4G and the Fascinate, respectively, and that can only mean more sales for Samsung. The Epic 4G is coming tomorrow and the Fascinate is rumored to be available on September 9, so we'll be waiting for more details about Galaxy S sales in the USA in six weeks from now.

Sony Ericsson to Finally Launch the Xperia X10 in the USA?

The Xperia X10 is Sony Ericsson's flagship Android device and it has been available in various markets for months now. But it looks like it's only now that the company is getting ready to bring the device to the U.S. market. And, considering what's out there, will the Xperia X10 be a hit phone?

There's no evidence to back this all up, only a teaser page that announces something will be happening tomorrow. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, a phone we talked about more than once, is just an Android 1.6 device. Will it be able to match the Motorola Droid, the Droid X, the HTC Droid Incredible or the HTC EVO 4G? Not to mention the Galaxy S family: Captivate, Fascinate, Vibrant and Epic 4G?

Everything Everywhere is the name of the company resulted between the merger of Orange UK and T-Mobile UK, and it looks like that's not the only merger we'll see a T-Mobile child-company involved in. The German communication giant has already signed a partnership with its French counterpart and now it looks like T-Mobile USA and Sprint could be the next merger of the future.
