A day ahead of Microsoft much expected event, the official release of Windows Mobile 6.5, AT&T has announced the first two phones ever to be able to run the new OS. The HTC Touch Pro2 dubbed as the Tilt2 and the HTC Touch Diamond2 aka the Pure will be available soon, if not immediately from AT&T stores.

The HTC Leo is definitely one of the hottest Windows Mobile 6.5 phones about to be launched and it looks like O2 will deliver soon to its UK subscribers. The Leo , also branded as the HD2, hasn't been officially confirmed by neither HTC nor O2 but according to leaked information the phone might be launched on October 12th in the UK with other markets to follow soon.

You haven't forgotten that Windows Mobile 6.5 is coming did you? Well neither did we and we've just discovered a new ROM that clearly indicates that the new Microsoft OS is going to be finger friendly. By now everyone has realized that a touch interface for mobile gadgets is probably the best way to go. Most new smartphones use touchscreens and we're probably going to expect future phones to follow this trend.
