With only a few weeks after Microsoft officially unveiled Windows Mobile 6.5 we now see the first mockups of the upcoming Microsoft mobile OS. Windows Mobile 7 is going to be available only later next year but it looks like the first mockups have already been leaked.

Windows Mobile 6.5 has just been released and there already is talk about the next version. Windows Mobile 7 is rumored to be revealed next year and the OS will be ready to be released to manufacturing by Spring 2010.

Could this be one of the first official Windows Mobile 7 handset? It appears so folks. The outside appearance is nothing special, but with WinMo 7 inside, I hope it's worth it.
We're ready for Windows Mobile 7 but the OS is nowhere near to be released. In fact we're still waiting for that Windows Mobile 6.5 to be released along with all those new handset we've heard about.

Windows Mobile 7 is official everyone! Steve Ballmer talked about Windows Mobile during a Strategic Update Meeting on Tuesday. It has been revealed that Windows Mobile is a core business of Microsoft. The company has 2,000 employees working on it and about a billion dollars invested every year in operating expenses. A Zune phone however is not going to be created yet.
