I just saw a post on the INQUIRER, few days old, which gives exclusive walkthrough of the final version of the new Windows Phone operating system ( a.k.a WM6.5 ). It is running on a HTC Touch Diamond2 phone and infact these videos and the OS are getting better everytime. As we can see from the video the outer shell is looking very polished kind of like the Zune Interface. Maybe the Today Screen is something that will be missed by many Windows Mobile Fans but that's the way it is. The INQUIRER has been told that the Windows Phone OS will arrive before Christmas.

Taiwanese electronic company Acer, which recently dived into the smartphone market with Windows Mobile handsets, is planning to churn out very affordable smartphones starting this year so that carriers may give them away for free.
