Feb 16 WMC 2009: Toshiba TG01 1GHz iPhone Killer Photo

Toshiba's aim to wow the crowd with a Windows Mobile phone like no other for sure maked interest at MWC 2009. Toshiba TG01 is the first handset with Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor and is powered with Microsoft's WM 6.1. It can be viewed at the Microsoft's place but can't be played with so I just took a photo of it. As you can see from the photo it has 256MB RAM, 3G, GPS and G-sensor.

The Samsung Omnia HD will be probably a best seller when you take in mind the Symbian S60 5th edition, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording capability, GPS, WIFI, HDMI output, a 3.5mm audio jack, and support for DivX and DNLA. Here are few pics to take a look at the device as i saw it today at Samsung's place. The folks there said "no pictures please", but I take some for you. See it after the jump...

Here is photo of HTC Touch Diamond II I shot this morning at World Mobile Congress 2009. As aimc already told you this new flagship of HTC has been unveiled today. As you can see from the photo it is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 Professinal and has slim and beautiful design. It will be one very fast device as it looks from the 288MB of RAM aboard and the 528MHz Qualcomm processor. I am sure that the 3.2-inch touch-sensitive screen with WVGA (480 X 800 pixel) resolution will give you perfect experience when watching videos, pictures or just browsing the phone. Ahh I was about to forget the 5MP camera, built in GPS and G-sensor. We and i guess you are already waiting for this phone to hit the shelves.

Feb 16 HTC launches Touch Diamond2, Touch Pro2

HTC Corp, said to be the leading maker of Windows Mobile phones, today unveiled in Barcelona its two new flagship handsets: the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2.

During the launch, HTC's top executive said that it is excited over the unveiling of the new Windows Mobile 6.5 platform later also at the Mobile World Congress event. He said both new handsets are WM 6.5-ready and will get free upgrades to the new platform.

Feb 16 Nokia unveils new GPS phones: 6710 Navigator and 6720 Classic

Nokia unveiled at the Mobile World Congress two new GPS phones: the 6710 Navigator and the 6720 Classic. Both phones have an improved design with a slightly curved shape and a soft touch surface. Both have a 5 megapixel camera, standard with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash on both handsets.

The company said that the 6710's navigation solution "second to none and provides everything you would expect from a dedicated GPS device with all the benefits of a converged mobile device".

Feb 16 Nokia unveils E55

Nokia unveiled the E55, one of the two new handsets in the E-series. It boasts of a very long power life (28 days), a 20-key QWERTY keyboard, GPS receiver, among other perks.

It looks like the replacement for the E51 but with marked improvements in the looks department. A big improvement is in the email interface, according to Nokia. The email interface on the E55 promises to deliver desktop-type experience.
