As you already know, Sony Ericsson has just unveiled its first Android phone. The Xperia X10 also known as Rachael is going to be available at some point next year. Reports suggest that Sony Ericsson is getting ready to launch it at some point in February but no U.S. carriers have shown any interest regarding the Xperia X10.

In fact we have some pricing details to prove that no carrier is thinking about offering the phone for a subsidized price. The phone is going to sell for 6,000 Swedish Kronor or about $870. The price reflects the fact that the Xperia X10 is a top of the line phone but I don't think people will want to pay that much money for Sony Ericsson's flagship phone.

At the beginning of the month Sony Ericsson announced the new Xperia X2 Windows Mobile smartphone and first Windows phone, featuring Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional (Check out the video here). Xperia X2 features the unique Arc-Slider keyboard but the new SlideView feature, which basically replaces the X1's Xpanels, should give the X2 Sony Ericsson's very own user experience in addition to Windows Mobile 6.5.
