Asus P750 has good battery life (about 10% in 1 day - so it should last at least a week if you use only phone function and make a few short calls a day; speakerphone is ok but could be louder), but turning on WIFI drains battery fast (battery dropped 20% per hour). In Hong Kong it came with 2 batteries but I find I dont really need a spare (it is useful for a longhaul flight and the phone is used for mp3 or reading). Since all programs and data is stored in the internal flash, 64MB RAM (actually 48.2MB available after chinese windows mobile 6.0 has gobbled its share) is plenty for running programs: A vast improvement over my old ipaq 4700. With excel, Internet explorer, microsoft reader, and Map King open simultaneously there was still 22MB Ram available. Good GPS receiver -it worked fine sitting in the central aisle cup holder in my toyota prius and does not need external antenna (there is a connector for one though on top right hand side of phone!) Camera has good resolution for a point and shoot but there is a short shutter lag as it autofocusses. Buttons and jog dials on side are very useful for launching applications quickly and scrolling. Useful set of bundled software. Definitely worth asking to buy the map software with the phone - for hong kong the map asia software works well in a car and the shop sold it to me for just under US$20 as a bundle with the phone (it costs double that if you buy it separately). USB charging is also very useful. Only gripes: the small 2.6" screen - if it could be made 0.2" wider (is the 0.1" bevel really needed on either side of the screen needed?), the phone could also be a great ebook/email reader, as it this it only averages 5 words per line on the screen in portrait mode using a font that is comfortable to my eyes. The screen seems like it is capable of vga resolution but I have yet to find a VGA enabler for WM6 to try it.
