Bought this phone on Ebay last week for $490 because the new contract requires you to get a $40/month data plan to get it for $240. The phone has WiFi so why bother paying for a data plan? Phone is great, a bit of a battery hog but for all it can do, and as fast as it does it, I don't mind carrying an extra USB charger.

You can buy this phone for $150 at newegg.com. No mail in rebates and no data plan required. Two- year contract and a minimum $39/month plan are, however, required. Hope this helps!

Based in Uk, got my Kaiser for just £24.99 on a £30 a month Orange contract from buymobilephones.net but it would have been free on a £35 a month contract!! Only gripes - Orange doesnt include the bundled GPS or backup software you get elsewhere and there is no flash on the camera. Other than that, the phone itself is absolutely amazing; aside from make the coffee there seems to be little it cant do! It's the best by far since getting my first mobile phone way back in the 90's

It's an amazing phone/pda... Works great. @Eric: I'm sure you can't buy it anywhere for $ 250 without a contract..... In NL you can buy it for about 180 Eurto with an Orange contract of 20 Euro (first year 10 Euro) plus 6 Euro for Orange World.

Hello everyone, hope you're all having a great new year... I thought I'd put in my two cents on this device. Sure there are lots of phones out there claiming to be "the next iphone" but as all of the owners of this great phone know, we don't need a an iphone! We've got Windows Media Player and if you go their website you can stream music thanks to that powerful processor! A keyboard that even though it doesn't look as cool as the iphone, IT IS FUNCTIONAL!! I mean, I don't know about you guys but when I use a key board I don't like to "peck" at the keys... I had the 8125 for while so this is an upgrade (not that I didn't love my 8125 or Wizard as it's known around the globe). The only thing I'd have to say to anyone who is looking to buy a sophisticated, work ready, idiot-proof ready to do what ever you throw its way, then this is the phone for you. Otherwise, get the something else... like an iphone, you'll look cool but... that's about it. What do you say guys?

Got the phone for free when i upgraded with Orange on an 18mth £25p/m contract (told them i would port my number to another network - It worked). Phone is amazing, the only problem is that Orange UK have branded the phone, so TomTom and other apps didn't come in the box. Still trying to get the GPS to work, any suggestions?

I've had the phone for about 6 weeks and love it. As far as the GPS goes, I would suggest Microsoft Livesearch. I've also used google maps, but Livesearch seems to be better. Just my opinion.

Hey to those who are on the Orange network, you need to use Internet Explorer and look at the favourites, there is a link to download the Orange version of their GPS software, which isn't too bad! Or look into the tom-tom website (don't know it) and see if you can get the software downloaded from there. Got mines over Christmas and got to say, it's an amazing peice of kit. One thing though, you deff need a memory card for this or you will notice it slow down over time. worth the money in my book.

I bought an AT&T Tilt last week for 200$ (100$ after they send me a rebate) and so far I love it. I've tried a few different free GPS programs; Google Maps, Live Search, and Nav4All. Each has their own advantages, but my favorite so far is Nav4All. Nav4All seems have the most features of all the programs, it even offers turn by turn voice directions and will automatically reroute your directions if you take a wrong turn. On the down side it isn't very user friendly and doesn't offer realtime traffic. LiveSearch will do voice regonition searches which are pretty cool and work well. Google Maps has the best realtime traffic data (in my area at least). The biggest dissapointment with Google Maps and LiveSearch is that the directions don't update as you move, so you have to manually scroll through the directions to see where you need to go next.

I bought a TILT last month and love it. The capabilities are unbeliveable. I bought it for $180.00. Upside to that is I work for AT&T. :) Still awsome phone. I thought I wanted the Shine just for a dailing phone, but since I was able to change the dailer skin to fit fingers better. Don't need a Shine anymore. The browsing experience kinda sux for Explorer, but if you look Opera Mini up on google and download that. Pages lode tons faster, and you are able to veiw full webpages. - Colt

Got the Tilt from LetsTalk.com for $99 with 2 year plan. Phone is awesome. So easy to customize to perform exactly as you want and more. Only disappointment is quality of video and pics in dim light..processing slow..but takes great pictures/video in well lit environments. Phone is excellent. Bluetooth stereo headset is awesome with both phone and music. Very content with this purchase.

The tilt is a great phone. I recommend going to tiltsite.com and reading about how to get rid of the AT&T bloatware and also how to install Kaisertweaks. It seems like AT&T dumbed the phone down a little and following some of these tips improve the phone quite a bit.

I bought this phone for $150. I know I know no one can beat this price as of 5-13-08. The phone is amazing, i have never seen web pages load so quickly on any phone. Using the telnev GPS, and guess where my TomTOM is? Yes its in the glove compartment. I can actually do my paper wile i am on the subway with no problem. The WiFi when on discover mode it will find any and every signal, thats actually is annoying so i leave it off. One thing i dont like about it it feels so fragile i all ready got a starch on it. I will keep this phone or eBay it depending on what softwares i can find for this. Most of the software i have to pay for! any one know where i can get some for free? I am a student and i already pay for book i dont think i should have to pay for software!! 4 out of 5 for me.

I have a TYTN11 in South Africa and is the biggest load of crap I have ever had as i have had it since Jan and have only had 30 days use out of it. the rest of the time it has been in repair for things like lockup if Bluethooth is on and a call is recieved. Speaker distorted. Screen misaligned with the touch screen. switching itself on from sleep mode and using up contract minutes. not locking the buttons and the list goes on even though they have replaced the internal workings of the unit. I recommend not to have one as you cannot use it.

I've had the Treo 750w and IPhones but the Tilt is in a class by itself. Those phones cannot compare with the quality, ease and speed of this phone. I purchased the phone from AT&T for $249 and would have gladely paid more. Now don't misunderstand what I am saying, the Treo and Iphone are very good phones but the Tilt is a great Mobile Phone. I know this is just my opinion but I am very pleased with this device. 5/5 stars
