IMATE SPL has admiring features like 2.0 pixel camera , mp3 in windows media player etc.. Though it has many features it cannot play video songs and also the volume is very low.The phone freezes at time. Appearance - 9/10 Performance - 6/10 Processing speed - 5/10 Camera - 9/10 Volume/spaker - 7/10 Totally i can rate 6/10 when comparing with the price and features.

I-MATE SPL - A NEVER BUY edition. the company only exaggerates over the jargon windows mobile but it really is of no use.. It is only a fancy to showcase while of little utility... I would rather request you all to never buy this phone due to : 1. Low volume on Speaker phone and MP3 2.QUALITY OF SPEAKER IS NOT GOOD. 3. BACK END SERVICE IS POOR.. 4.PHONE IS TOO MUCH COSTLY AND OF NO UTILITY AS SUCH I SHOULD HAD RATHER PURCHASE A SONY ERRICSSON SET WHICH IS MUCH MORE BETTER

I hereby claim that i-mate SPL is a real FAKE because of all bad features that cause headache for the person who buy it. In profiles, it is impossible to set ring tones to profiles separately. You cannot specify a sound to silent mode and another to normal, as an example. In Windows Media Player 10, while in full screen mode it just plays in the center and does not fit whole screen. In Pictures and Videos, when making a new folder you are unable to rename it unless you go through file explorer. in "menu" option, you cannot find the choice "EXIT". After using the button "back" the user might think that the application is still running. In messaging, unable to make desired folders in which the user can store certain messages and categorize them. In contacts, all SIM contacts and phone are shown all together while i-mate could simply make an option to switch between SIM contacts and phone. In nokia Symbian powered devices there's a button "pen" by which the user can mark some text and copy, then paste somewhere else. Also some files together can be selected by the means of this pen while in i-mate SPL there is not any choice of "select all", let alone the others. In text messages, while you are sending SMS to many, you cannot select the recipients together, first and send SMS at once. (just adding one by one) It should be mentioned that I had a Symbian OS device – nokia 6630 – by which I was to handle as a PC. I-mate SPL is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 and has nothing, really nothing. I claim that I officially signed an asylum against i-mate head office if I could and I had enough time to spend on this case. I really wonder what is i-mate famous for??!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am using i-mate for last 1 year.. i faced software problem sometimes.. But now a bug problem.. My phone outerbody got a scrach and no one sell it.. Option is use it like that else through the phone..
