Hmmm... big screen... querty keyboard... touchscreen... this is a pda, not a smartphone. The 9150 is a smartphone, a sleek one too
Anon. wrote...
this is a pretty sleek pda though, fitting a 3.5 inch 640x480 touchscreen and querty keyboard and yet only measuring 110 x 74 x 18 mm. The screen puts the Creative Zen Vision W's (best pmp screen) 480x272 4.3 inch lcd to shame.
Anon. wrote...
thick though, but still thinner than the 80gig ipod or zen vision/w/m.

Folks, I've got bad news for you: i-Mate 7150 doesn't exist. I've been researching this device on the internet for quite a long time and I haven't found a single review where the reviewer would have a working i-Mate 7150 in his hands. It's easy to make a non-functional model and even to do a couple of fake photos in Photoshop. What are we looking at is actually a very good joke of someone. What puzzles me is that so many sites have adopted this joke as a real thing. Michal michal.kreslik(at)kreslik.com

this baby could cost around 1400$, the same price i first got my jasjar a couple of years ago. the sad part is: we have to wait for years before the cooked ROMS start crawlin out the woodwork.i just wish it has more kick compared to the Jasjar, which is way too slow. though imma get this baby a couple of years after it gets released.and Michael, this baby is in the works. You gotta be a lil patient.

I presently own the IMATE JASJAR which has proven to be exceptional in all that it does and all it can do, however, being a geek for newer items, I too have been awaiting for this ultimate 7150 so I can sell my jasjar and purchase the 7150. I am in the CLUB IMATE club through my jasjar purchase and I'm told the 7150 is in testing and will be released no later than jan/08. So all I can do at this point is wait and see just how true that statement is. From the quality service I've received from the jasjar,I do feel the 7150 will be well worth the wait.

i 'm doing the same as HARRI-0 waiting until the 7150 is released so i can sell my jasjar. :d

I just bought an Imate Jasjar and I think iMate Ultimate 7150 seems like the "ultimate" device. O2 Flame and iMate Jasgar seem amazing devices

I own an i-mate jasjam and can definitely say i use the device to 110% of its capabilities... I think only some 1% of pda/pocket pc users know how to make full use of it. If ever i have to change it here are the things i would wish for: 1. More ram so more speed.. that is what slows it down 2. A larger screen than the currently 2.8" 3. More than 2GB microsd capabilities 4. TV out options so one can be able to play dvix for example from it 5. Better camera just to match the latest N95 5Megapixel carl zeiss lens pictures Only 2 or 3 new models some still to be lauched may compete with it. So my hopes are high and hopefully very soon, i will hold the ultimate mobile device at hand. They are I-mate ultimate 7150 HTC Advantage X7501 HTC TYTN II HTC P6500
