A nice Windows Mobile device, runs WM6 which is not a big upgrade over WM5 however what I didn't like about this phone is sometimes it gets slow and hangs and gets me to soft reset, in my opinion they should have raised the clock speed a little over 400MHZ which they claim is, in reality this device runs at 384MHZ not well suitable for todays multimedia applications especially 3D mobile games or even fast system experience, however this phone is intended for business use, if you want to watch videos and play mobile games you have to check HTC fast Windows Mobiles which they also claim to be fast I didn't try HTC but I have heard allot of complaining about them too, all in all I feel that Windows Mobile need to learn form Apple Iphone performance and beauty, simply Windows Mobile is Ugly and slow and what keeps me using it is the ability to write Microsoft Office Document on the go.

Don't buy this phone. What they don't warn you about is the repair costs are rediculous. I accidentally cracked the touch screen (thin piece of glass in front of the LCD) walking past a table with the phone in my pocket and the local repairers wanted $375 to repair it. Imate have combined the touch screen and LCD into a single unit (stupid given this is a common repair area) so if you damage this you are screwed.

to change the language of i mate....... start >sttings > system(tab 2) >master clear(its a moble pic with balck colour and a green round arrow)> type in the colomn 1234..> choose yes(right side of moble)> system will restart...then give commands...while agreement coming choose declain... then it will b in english.. for more cal 0502016233

It is my 2nd Window based PDA, the 1st was HP ipaq512, system hang never happen on ipaq 512, but it happened frequently on 8502..... Beside this,I would like to ask how can I delete icon in program menu? The icon still appear in program menu after I have uninstalled the software...
