I just had an online chat with a rep from Verizon (forgot to copy the text) Sad I simply asked when she thought the Omnia II was going to be released. She looked into it and just said "soon". We talked a little more and I found that she herself was looking forward to the release of the Omnia II. After a little flattering Wink, she told me to hold on while she checked with someone at a "higher level". When she came back she said that I should definitely check back on Friday. So, I'm thinking that at the very least(hopefully) on Friday we should have a date for the Verizon release. wait for updates at http://www.samsung-omnia.org

awesome review. pretty happy about my new unlocked phones. fast processor, my wife loves hers and my daughter does too! best christmas presents i've spent so far. much better than our old unlocked iphones. easy to use, practical, small enough but still big enough for great pictures and recorder. i love the email to keep in touch with my clients and the gps helps me get around for appointments. very happy with these unlocked mobile phones. battery life is really long and so far i have no complaints except for the screen is kind of glitchy sometimes. got our last couple unlocked cell phones at gsmallover.com and 2 thumbs way up

This phone cames with windows Mobile 6.5 that in general is a good, but moderately unstavel. Unfortunatelly it cames with a serius bug. When install some apps, or even whitout visible reason, the Wi-FI stop work. There is some newsgroup trying to workaround the problem but solution is not easy. Samsung and Microsoft should deliver urgent a patch to solve the problem. Another problem is the screen building glass material. It's too soft. In one month of use I have many scratchs on screen.

Good phone. The TouchWiz UI is clunky though. I replaced it with a third party interface. The phone went from good to awesome.
