Do not buy on O2 if you want sat nav, O2 blocks the sat nav software on all handsets and no you can't download a new version. Otherwise a good and fairly strong phone

I have a 702 from O2. The battery needs filling almost every day ( 25% left after 20/28 hours). I only chose this one for the GPS....Dermot do you still have a problem and how did you find out O2 have blocked the GPS function. Does any one else have these problems ? The maps, where do you get them and how do they work ? There is no information in the booklet that comes with the phone or on the web site. Tanks. Eric

My wife got this phone on O2 and there was 1 or 2 Items O2 had blocked, so after searching the internet we found Davinciteam and for £8 we flashed the phone with latest SE software. Everything now works as it should and it even updates the OS on sony website and cured the switching off / freezing problem many people are having with this model.

After 2 months of normal use, the silver color on the case is going... And you will not solve anything if you use the service as solution, will say: because of normal wear take paint! SonyEricsson not want to admit that it was a manufacturing defect ........... And u can do nothing to change the phone or to get the money back!
