You are the man. I did not think that this would work in a million years and even if it did I thought that it would be of poor quality, utill I put my volume on blast and it is by far the best application yet. You really designed this with users in mind. I wish there was some way I could show my gratitude towards you, please let me know. I just purchased a $125 blutooth headset with a detatchable mic to go with my $1,150 O2 XDA Pro Exec, after spending all that money I thougt things would work, but they did not, I was terribly dissappointed and I recived no support from either manufacturer, and searched on like for hours (its 2am right now) and finally I found a solution. Once again: YOU ARE THE MAN let me konw if you need anything Gratefuly yours, Frankie

I guess this only works for WM2005 ppc(as required above). I installed it in my Imate Jam with WM2003, the program runs without error but the music is not re-routed to the wireless headset.

Folks, An important bit of information in regards to this utility, it will not work unless your headset is Stereo enabled. Most headsets that are above $50 have the A2DP profile that is required for BT enabled devices to dtream audio. Hence, instead of struggling to find a fix for this online, go out and purchase a stereo enabled headset and use this utility above. Tiger direct has ones starting from $40 and if you're a high pitcher, go for Motorolas or Oakley's ROKR (ebay). Cheers, Ali
Khan wrote...
zeventh, This will not work on the iMATE JAM. You will get the icon in the programs and will be able to trun it on, at which time you may hear a static sound in your BT headset, however it'll only support voice for calls. To use this utility or BT Toggle utility, you'll have to make sure you are using STEREO enabled BT Headsets. Some Nokia phones stream music to other headsets too, these are A2DP enabled. Bottom line, if you're going to shell out $50 on the head set and about $50 on a 2GB SD card for your MP3s, my suggestion is, go for an iPOD. Much much better considering the amount of battery you'll save.

It sounds horrible! My Cingular 8125 barely played through the bluetooth stereo headset after down loading the BT Audio but it sounded like static instead of stereo. Cingular replaced my phone and told me not to do that again! Can you Please explain to me exactly how everyone is doing this so I can try to do this again. Are there directions somewhere that explain every keystroke necessary for me to figure this out so I can listen to the MP3 player "wirelessly" and to configure this 8125 to listen to high quality stereo on a Jabra BT620s bluetooth stereo headset? I'd like to try this again if someone is willing to help me or talk me through this. I know I can figure this out with your help. Thanks in advance for your help and patience.

Easy install and works great. I have a scala BT ear piece and use MS voice commander on my ppc6700. The only thing I have noticed is if I have the music on and a call comes in I have to turn the BlueTooth Audio v1.0 back on to reset the connection. For me this is a a small price to pay for something I have been looking for for a long time now. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Sounds like a great program, and easy to install - copy the downloaded .CAB file to the phone then double-click it. Only then realized my Hp/Cingular-6510 runs the "older" WinCE-2003 so now like others wonder if a compatable version exists?? (Motorola HS805 headset)

Cingular (HTC) 8125 Jabra BT150 $40 non 2.0 Compact Framework version This combination worked fine. Music quality is ok with no static. Installation was no issue. Issue 1: After incomming or out going call all audio is routed back to phone and BT Audio has to be turned back on. A partial solution for this is to assign a voice command to BT Audio this will bring the program back up but you will still have to touch the phone to turn it on. Issue 2: 8125 - you cannot us the power button to turn off the lcd, this will stop the music, however if you have some othe add on that turns of the lcdh as Powercheck that has no issues.

Hello I noticed several people asking how to install this program. I have a Samsung sch-I760 and it works great for me. The following is how I installed it: 1. Download file to pc. 2. Open the file by double clicking. 3. copy and past the cab file to the desktop (this file should have a file cabinet icon). 4. Open the devices files through active sync. 5. click and hold (this is important do not copy and paste you must drag it) on the cab file on your desktop and drag it into the device files window. 6. Open the file on your device. 7. Restart the device. I would like to add that I had a little trouble getting it to play. I had to turn on my headset and wait for it to connect to my device. Then I started Media Player. Next I turned on BT Audio which paused Media Player. Lastly, I hit play in Media Player. It works great. Thank you so much.

Well, I finally got it to work and i maintain my handsfree functions like voice command and stuff. I used btaudio v1 which is around here somewhere. I had it in my cabs folder forever. Ok, so... the problem i had was that voicecommand would time out my bluetooth headset after 10 sec or so. I had to edit the registry like one of the previous posters talked about when he/she posted a link to a cingular wireless thread. in HKLM-->software-->oem-->voicecommand and change voicecmdDuration to something like 10000. Once i did that, my audio didn\'t cut out after 10 secs when i turned on music and hit my headsets call button. To use the voice commander, I just opened btaudio program and clicked off and it reverted to voicecommander. In the on position, voicecommander doesn\'t pop up. So to recap for anyone interested in how i got it to work (with alot of trial and error mind you ): 1. install btaudio v1 (or whatever version that\'s available either here or on ppcfreeware or whatever). 2. Change your registry as mentioned above for the voicecmd duration. 3. turn on bt audio, turn on music, and then click the accept call button on your bluetooth (in that order). Here\'s the bad news. When getting a call, i can still pickup when listening to music and it will stop the music. After the call the music comes out of my phone speakers and i have to click my headset accept call button once or up to three times before the music is routed. One more thing. Sometime in BTaudio, it says its off when its really on. I suppose the correct button (off or on) is highlighted when you open it up, but i\'m not sure. In either case, you have to click off to use voicecommand and click on to keep voicecommand from stopping your audio. Finally, with btaudio off, you can still listen to music, but your voicecommander will pop up and shut off after the 3-5 secs and also shut off the music routing. This is for those of us who had problems with the sound stopping because of voice speed dial settings turning off the connection after like 10-15 secs of audio. The regedit fixed that. You may not even need the BTaudio, but I decided to describe what I did in case anyone still has a problem and wants to try my method. __________________ Device: hermes/tytn/8525 Rom: official \"official\" AT&T ROM (v3.0; 18-Jul) vp3G 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1) BT: navibe gb735 gps, motorola h350, h710, slx800 skyfire beta baby.

works great on my ppc6800/vx6800 or htc touch or however you know it. now you will have to go into your programs and activate the bt audio and turn it on from the option but it worked fine. It also gave back the ability to here the ringtone set for an incoming caller. It would play both the regular bluetooth tone and specific ringtone alternating. thanks guys!!!!!! just what I was looking for.

I wanted to thank Blade2032 for providing the bridge between my bluetooth headset and my UTStarcom XV6700 PDA/phone. I've been looking around, and hadn't found any solution, just people asking to being able to do that. BTW, my 6700 (Verizon, not Sprint) required the alternate version (doesn't require 2.0 .net). Thanks for providing that. The regular BTaudio didn't work on this one. THANKS! I'm currently listening to Santana, via internet via Pocketstreamer software (not freeware). I wished there were more streaming USA tv stations to listen to. Drop by the site if you want. www.imabird.com . I'm into Parrots, besides computers and pdas. Bear
