SensorLock is a device locking application designed for the HTC Touch Diamond. It also works on the HTC Touch Pro.
Updated version 0.4.0
The complete list of improvements this release brings:* Added gesture recorder, gestures can now be user defined.
* When stylus is pulled out when device is asleep, autolock no longer locks the device.
* Autolock everything no longer displays the message to shut down the phone when switching on the phone.
* The notification padlock icon is now optional and may be disabled in the control panel.
SensorLock allows you to lock the device's screen and buttons, thereby preventing random button and screen presses while the device is in your pocket.
Locking and unlocking is simply done by rotating the device around its longest axis (clockwise for locking and counter-clockwise for unlocking) and can be done in any program (Media Player, TomTom etc) without disrupting normal device operation.

Installed on HTC Diamond. works great. After a while the phone kept vibrating lost all power. during vibration I was not able to click on any thing. Put the phone on recharge and uninstalled. Need some work. Great sofware will look for future updates.

Great app. On my HTC Touch Pro works fine, until restart. After restart, mobile starts vibrating in some random interval and tapping on screen (pin code request) doesnt work. Also keyboard doesnt work in this state. Iam begginer in WM, so hard reset solved my problem. After that I tested this sw on clear windows and same effect :-( Please give me a mail when fix will be done.

Hi i get the same problem that LuVar gets on my touch pro. but i can connect the data cabel, then the keybords get unlocked and i can remove the program. Before i restart the device i really like the program, so then this is fixt i will install it again.

It was fine until I restart my phone. It wouldn\'t stop vibrating and all I couldn\'t click or touch anything on my HTC Diamond. It definably needs more work, I will wait for an Update.

it is so annoying when a calling is coming, and you have to rotate the phone to be able to press an answer button. the program should be not lock the phone when a call is receiving... Another thing is, when a phone touch feature is ON. And after a minute, the phone turn off screen. then press the power button to turn the phone screen on, the touch feature is OFF. another annoying things, we have to rotate the phone again to active the touch feature. Things need to improve are: + auto turn ON touch feature by pressing power button. + auto turn ON touch feature when a call is receiving. With out those update features, the software is useless and annoying users... Thank you very much !

Nice program BUT................... It dont do what i Want =/ And that is to only answer cals by pressing the soft button on the phone. Uh oh! After I restarted I was getting some \"file missing\" errors for some programs. After a soft reset I lost everything on my internal storage. In fact, all I can see is \"My Device\" in file explorer. My sync with my laptop shows the phone as 3.75 gig external storage, not as a smartphone. Hard reset time! BE CAREFUL!

I also had to uninstall it due to it locking the touch screen and vibrating (Almost like it was laughing at me, long, short, short, short,long. Only way to uninstall is while plugged into Active sync (Then and only then would the screen be unlocked). I would like to use it but..............

i was having the same problem with the vibrate on startup. then i just deleted the sensor lock program from the startup file. no more problems. i guess trying to run this file while the phone is also loading touchflo3d and what have you it was a major conflict. anyways i am running this on sprint touch pro i love the program. freeware is not for everyone.

Very nice app for my Touch Pro. Found a bug though, when editing gestures, and want to reset to default, Unlock gesture becomes counterclockwise instead of clockwise. If exiting program after that, the only way to unlock the phone is to remove battery.

I just bought the HTC touch HD, and the sensorlock works well! One annoying thing though: when I answer the phone via bluetooth earphones, it unlocks the phone! Which is quite annoying if the phone is in my pocket or my bag... any fix for that? Thanks!

Juste one thing: would it be possible NOT to block the power button, in order to be able to switch the phone off just after locking it (actually that\'s what happens when you lock it and wait that power turns off, you can use power button again, on and off, but every other button remains locked!) It works great, but after it locks and then I unlock my phone the send key will no longer pull up my dial pad as it should. I removed it from my Diamond. It was a cool program, though.

Very nice program! For those having problems - many of the answers lie in the programs settings - it is highly customizable. Look in \"Settings\" - \"All Settings\", then the \"Personal\" tab - you should see an icon with Sensor Lock. Press it and you will find a page of settings to play with. Personally, I didn\'t like the defaults, so I changed to make it unlock when the device \'wakes\' or a call comes in and other things I liked. My only problem so far was that when I defined a \'custom\' gesture, it recorded it and it seemed to work until I backed out of the configuration screen - then it didn\'t work at all. Re-booting didn\'t help, nor did resetting it to the \'default\' gesture. This might be a bug. Other than that it\'s been working fine and a REAL time saver! Kudos to the Developer, and many thanks too:-)

A couple of suggestions. First, I too had a problem with the edit gestures function. I\'m a tad clumsy and didn\'t want to risk dropping my phone so I wanted to edit the gestures to make them shorter. Foolishly I played with the UNLOCK one first. Well the new gesture was recorded, and it worked properly - for a while. Once it quit there was no reviving the phone without removing the battery. I could have made my life much simpler if I altered the LOCK gesture first - so if it goes wonky the phone is at least unlocked and usable. Also, I failed to recall that there is an option to unlock the phone when the stylus is removed. If you\'re going to edit the gestures I suggest you check this option - if your phone gets locked it\'s easier to take out the stylus than the battery :-) Still a VERY cool App, just a few bugs left in the system. fgcy - take it easy! It\'s freeare and it\'s in BETA! If it was perfect you would have paid $39.95 for it on Handango :-0 In general, it\'s a good idea to use Sprite Backup just before installing any software, but before a free beta for sure. If it goes wrong, just let the system re-install itself back to the state just before installing the App - it\'s pretty painless and easy on the \'ol blood pressure! (please don\'t yell at Developers who give us their work for free - they\'re trying to make the world a little bit better. Even if they fail, they deserve our respect and gratitude - namaste) MadSci

I agree with Fred's suggestion. Sometimes I turn the phone on just to check if there are messages, etc., and then want to immediately power it off, but I can't without unlocking it first. If there could be a way to exempt the power button from locking, it would be a great option.

Works great. When you lock the device, you can feel a double smooth vibration, when you unlock it, you feel one vibration. Cool.

Works great on the Sprint HTC Touch Pro! Before, whith the phone in my pocket and receiving a call I would hit the ignore button by mistake and loose the call. With this additon I have not lost a call! Great Job !!

Have just installed this app on my HTC Touch HD and works fine, apart from a couple of things. I know this is beta and freeware, so please think of this as feedback rather than anything negative. The HTC Touch HD has an option to power the screen off by pressing the power button once, (as I\'m sure most HTC phones do), before the screen turns itself off as a power save option. If you use Sensor Lock to lock the phone before the screen goes blank it will lock all buttons (including volume button and the 4 soft keys at the bottom). However as soon as you press the power button to bring the screen back to life the soft keys and volume keys become active, (the touch screen remains locked though). Also if you lock the phone with the sensor AFTER power save has kicked in, (ie the screen goes blank) you have the same issue with the soft keys and volume keys being active). Otherwise I think it\'s a great bit of software and will be leaving it on my phone. Look forward to a release that may solve the above issues as well. Thanks

Works well for Touch Pro but be careful not to drop the phone when rotating it both clock and anti-clock wise.It needs little more than a rotation to turn it on and off.

When using sat nav on my HTC Touch HD, I used to get loads of problems with accidental activations when slipping the phone into the clear map pocket on my tank bag. This has solved all of these problems and it works fine with the Touch HD. Would like to know how to access the setting screen though

I like the lock over all but I seem to lock the phone rather easy (not purposly locking it the way the video explains how to) and it takes some time to unlock it. I have flipped it over 3 to 4 times to unlock it. It scares me that I might not unlock my phone sometimes!
