WMMiniGPS is a Windows Mobile 5/6 software which gets your GPS data in a really simple gui, showing you latitude, longitude, altitude and speed. It can log all to file and it can export your paths to Google Earth's kml and gpx format.
There's a compass, which shows your direction and you can set latitude and longitude of a point and the program will show you the way to reach it with a radar, telling you how many meters / kilometers there are to cover.

Easy to install, but I don't get a fix. I use a BT GPS antenna. After pairing the PDA to the GPS antenna I start WMMiniGPS and click Start. Nothing. The PDA is set for Com8 for the GPS antenna using the PDAs GPS Settings - but this function has not worked for me using other GPS applications. I read through the forum, but the closest example didn't relate to this specific problem. I may try running Port Splitter and trying different port options.

Sorry to omit... WM5, hx4705. WMMiniGPS is installed on a CF card. Other GPS applications work fine. I was only running WMMiniGPS at the time of the problem.

works fine on a asus p750 mobile phone. don΄t need to set up gps, works as it is. for the export an automatic name (suggestion) would be nice. like that toy, thanks.

Hope the author sees this. :-) Really nice program. A few notes: Works great on my HTC Diamond, though I need to use a prog to make sure it doesn't go to sleep mode. Would love if you added start and stop time. Would also love to get a distance measurement thingie, but http://maps.live.com can be used fine untill. :-) Maybe integrand the black screen application as an option or button somehow.

Works well on HTC Touch Pro! (I tried the 12fix version) KML is ok in Google Earth and GPX contains time recordings as well. Appears suitable for geotagging photos! Nice work! A minor remark though: the exported files do not automatically get the right extension (yet). Keep up the good work!

easy install, but can't use in samgsung i908 wm6.1. when start it, it shows "Fixing ...." for long time and no data. i908 has build-in gps

This program would be perfect, except it really needs to have US measurements (feet, miles per hour, etc) as well as metric.
